What is a background removal credit?
One credit equals one background removal operation — regardless of the image size or complexity. Credits are consumed the moment processing begins. If a job fails due to a server error on our end, the credit is automatically refunded.
Do unused credits roll over to the next month?
Subscription plan credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. However, credits purchased via the Credit Top-Up store never expire and accumulate in your wallet indefinitely.
Can I mix subscription and top-up credits?
Yes. Your subscription credits are used first. Once depleted, any top-up credits in your wallet are consumed automatically — so you never hit a hard stop mid-project.
How does the API pricing work?
API calls share the same credit pool as the web interface. Each API call to the background removal endpoint consumes one credit. The API call limit per plan controls rate limiting, not total images — so a Business plan can make 50,000 API calls per month, each deducting one credit from the 2,000 monthly pool (or your top-up wallet if depleted).
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
Yes — Starter, Pro, and Business plans include a 14-day free trial with full feature access. No credit card is required to start. You'll be notified before the trial ends.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Processing will pause and you'll receive an email notification at 80% usage. You can either wait for your monthly credits to refresh, or instantly purchase a top-up pack to continue without interruption.
Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime?
Absolutely. Plan changes take effect immediately. Upgrading is prorated — you only pay the difference. Downgrading takes effect at the next billing cycle. Cancellations can be made at any time with no exit fee.
Do you offer refunds?
Annual plans include a 30-day money-back guarantee. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time; you retain access until the end of the paid period. Top-up credit packs are non-refundable once purchased, but credits never expire.
